Re: Does anyone know of a cure for Fuchs Dystrophy

Hi! I am a Greek guy of nearly 60 years old.

I suffer from cornea dystrophy lattice.
It is a genetic disease in my case.
My mother had it. My sister has it. My daughter has it.
All of us due to the severe development of the symptoms wh had to proceed to cornea transplant.
I was thd first who had it ar Moorfields Eye Hospital in 1982 right eye and 1986 left eye. Then the consultant doctor was Mr Arthur Steele. A great gentleman and an ecpertise. The next day of each of the operations my eye vision improved miracously.
After almost 30 years I keep going with the same transplanted corneas. But in the next 2 or 3 years I am planning to proceed to another one in the eye that I have the worse vision.
I am doing my research now to find which country, clinic and doctor is better to choose. Though here in Greece we have doctors specialized.
The rest persons in my family they had in both eyes cornea tranplanting in Greece with very good results.
