Re: Does anyone know of a cure for Fuchs Dystrophy
I am the woman that the question was posed about. I do not nor have ever used drugs, I have never even smoked, drank very little and I have always eaten extremely healthy. Very little processed foods and lots of fresh vegetables and proteins. My sex life has always been safe and healthy, where as I did use oral contraceptives at a younger age, I am now in menopause so have not used any for a few years. I am 5' 7" weigh 135 and have pretty much maintained the same weight the majority of my life. So no real weight fluctuations at all. As for stress, I think at some point in all our lives we all suffer from stress, but I wouldn't say any more than normal. My outlook on life has always been to try to stay as positive as possible.
I already eat cottage cheese and fruit almost everyday, especially blueberries, because I was told that bilberry helps, I have also been taking it orally. I have read lots of research in this area since being diagnosed but have been told repeatedly that is was from both of my parents passing on a recessive gene. i would like to know where your info has come from and why you feel that fuch's is a result of these bad lifestyles and choices. Which in my case is no where near the case.
