There's poetic language which is simile and allegory, 'like a lion, like a lamb', but there is no reason not to accept that every single man (old english uses that as a blanket term, both male and female) will know that He's arrived, and there's no way left to hide.

If people have made up theologies that deny it, then that's their own problem. Yeah, there's lots of folk who come up with their own roundabout logics, but sound study doesn't deny Jesus his role (and much longed for position) as judge.
