Grz,(I know you know this, you may be bogged down by all the back and forth) If you look at the published research literature, you will find that elemental(aka metallic as opposed to? cause all silver atoms as you said, are the same atom basicly, same size and weight Id think. (ions lacking one proton or one electron). not speaking of isotopes here, back to the topic,) elemental silver has no power in our bodies.

Antibiotic ability of any kind. AG atoms move thru us as any fiber would, reletivly inert. Unless or until either acted upon by our systems protein digesting gastric system
or if elsewhere in our body by other acidic extracellular fluids or conditions wherein an AG atom starts to deconstruct and the large particled AG sheds becomes AG+, which can then find and hook onto a receptor site of an available protein, move on as movement naturally occurs, so that then thru that system traveling by piggy backing, the AG+ ion exchange can occur with some found pathogen debilitizing said negativly charged bacteria, virus or fungus.
