Re: Seeking help - is this a parasite?

Update: Sent the picture over to my gastroenterologist. She said it didn't look like a worm to her ... that it could be intestinal lining or something (this is coming from her nurse - I never spoke directly to my gastro). I don't think she zoomed in on the photo, though, because if you do, you can see what looks like a vein or something running the length of the "worm" and what I think looks like a sucker end. Of course, again, I'm not an expert. Am I crazy?

She is prescribing Albenza, though, so my new question - in addition to getting any other thoughts on what this thing is - has anyone been on Albenza before? Seems like even with insurance, it's going to be costly. And what was your experience with it (side effects, specifically)?
