Re: Fasting for Scleroderma

Update:

Pain stays mostly in remission as long as I continue to only juice with small amounts of things like Avacado, banana, salad etc. I get slight pain and swelling in my hands and feet in mornings and nights, but not nearly as much as I had before the fast. I started DMSO and it seems to help make my fingers feel stronger and the DMSO seems to get rid of the residual pain that had returned after I started eating again. I'm greatful that I am no longer spiraling down that Steroid/Lyrica black hole though! 95% of my pain I had before starting the fast is still gone! I'm sure my Reumatologist is wondering what happened to me.....I feel as though I am taking control over my body back!

I also started on L-glutamine to try to heal my gut. Hopefully this will be advantageous and I won't be so sensitive to food any longer....

Not sure why I feel the need to update this, but maybe someone else can get relief lfrom the fasting like I did....DMSO seems to help as well. One capful mixed in juice in morning and the following morning I notice a difference .
