I used a very large pot and put any ORGANIC meat with bone in it. Ribs, chicken, chops..anything you can get hold of. No vegetables. Covered with water to an
inch below the top. Simmered for two hours, then removed meat portion then continued simmering the bones on lowest setting overnight. Strained off some of the fat after cooling in fridge. I added some himilayan salt for flavor. I Sipped on or drank this throughout day as I got hungry.
The second and third week was whey water......Suerro Gold.
Anyhow, I made it three weeks on my fast then transitioned to juicing. Bought a juicer and also go to the juice bar down the street. No hard food yet. My symptoms have not returned. I'm still pain free, so going to continue this regime...
When I do eat it will be mostly
juicing but I intend to keep the hard food to salads soups, veggies, avocados, bananas, fruits, etc....I slipped up and ate one regular meal and the symptoms seemed to return immediately the following day although not as severe...so, I realize that food affects me greatly.
I would definitely recommend fasting to anyone with scleroderma from my own personal experience. It seemed to stop it in its tracks. I don't think you can go back to eating the normal western diet afterwards though.
Again, I want to reiterate that I got to the point that I could barely walk. I was using the carts in Walmart to get around and just walking across my house was extremely difficult for me. I was in considerable pain and spiraling down hill. The medicine they gave me for the fibro pain was $1,000 per month. The steroids worked, but you can't do those for long without terrible side effects. I'm so happy I tried this. Instead of going down the other path....
Also, I Just started taking DMSO in aloe Vera juice to try to heal my gut completely.
Anyhow, good luck!
