Couple of other options that may prove better for you;
1. Cavitat Scanner
2. Leukoscan
Granted the Cavitat Scan would likely be your best option as it provides a fairly reliable roadmap in terms of suspect areas. Whereas the Leukoscan gives the option of identifying infectious hot spots.
PS. X-Ray's, CT scans, Pano scans, MRI and bone density scans, will not show cavitations - and that's the awful truth. :(
