just open it up-maybe drill a couple of pilot holes. If you really feel an cavitation you will probably be right.
I knew my number 30 was bad and we were going to open it up today either way but my guy has cavitat and it showed up there also.
my opinion is very little downside to opening it up-very big downside to leaving an infection in your jaw
