I just moved to the US so I don't have insurance yet. Ideally, I should be out there trying out for soccer teams and partying but I just can't do that anymore.

It could be that, I manage the appearance quite well with moisturizers but they still harden a few days later which I then have to peel. Luckily enough, I never get the overgrown, yellow cornflake-like crusts that many get here, just a clear, hardened layer that will eventually look like a raisin once it's built up enough.

I actually had braces for four years, and I am currently wearing retainers now (the removeable ones). I also don't know if this has something to do with EC because my EC only came many months after wearing the retainers. If your lips turn white in water then you may as well have EC as it's the most common symptom that most of us share.

I truly hope you can find something that works for you, this condition is hard to deal with as it is.
