Re: A possible side-effect from Frankincense?

I think tree gums/resins are safe.

These are some of the chemical compounds present in frankincense:

"acid resin (56 %), soluble in alcohol and having the formula C20H32O4"[29]
gum (similar to gum arabic) 30–36%[29]
3-acetyl-beta-boswellic acid (Boswellia sacra)[30]
alpha-boswellic acid (Boswellia sacra)[30]
4-O-methyl-glucuronic acid (Boswellia sacra)[30]
incensole acetate
phellandrene[29]

So this is mostly a heavy inert hydrocarbon and a gum similar to Gum Arabic, which also comes from trees and is found in so many foods. Millions of people eat tree gums every day.

I think diet is important for cancer. I think a raw vegan diet would help.

When someone says that fasting or diet has cured cancer, I think it is generally more believable because they are not really selling anything; There is little motive for deception.
