Re: Boron is a HEAVY METAL, worst than lead!!

You're an idiot. Boron is not as lethal as mercury, cadmium, or lead. Those are heavy metals which play absolutely no role in the human body and act simply as toxins. Boron is an essential nutrient in mammals and the body can handle it much better than the metals you mentioned.

Mercury depending on it's form can kill you in doses as low as 1.5ng (nanograms, one-billionth of a gram). Lead is also dangerous in amounts as small as 1ng when exposed over long periods of time. Both of these metals can readily pass the BBB with the right conditions and quickly lead to death.

To even see small health effects from sodium tetraborate you would have to ingest multiple teaspoons of the stuff every day for years upon years or ingest an entire bowl of the stuff at once. We are talking trillions of times as much as lead, mercury, and cadmium.

So seriously f*** off with your psuedo-science and alarmist mentality.
