I figured someone might catch on that, and I'll be direct here. I am, in NO WAY, racist. I was just making a contrasting example of extreme malnutrition and the countries in Africa are the only ones I could think of with such severity. I don't think I said they don't really get this, I was just speculating on my part in regards to nutrition and I also believe there are many more cases of EC unreported.

I am athletic too and I can definitely tell you I was eating healthy prior to getting ec, and like you I definitely remember picking and peeling them a few times before I got this. I guess I was licking them too because they got dry.

The reason why I'm giving examples relating to nutrition is because EC is speculated to be related within the gut and that whatever we eat has something to do with our lips and many people here are also convinced of that. I however am not, at least in my case.
