Diagnostic testing - lyme/candida

I'm attemting further diagnostic testing. Does anyone have experience of the MELISA testing protocol for possible lyme/borrelia ? I feel there's more I can be doing to address this problem with further testing... I can certainly manipulate the severity and frequency of lip peeling with diet. If I eat less I generally feel and look better, but this may only be slowing the processes involved in the peeling and not addressing the underlying causality. I have been vegan since January and most of the food I eat now is organic, nutrient dense. I cannot honestly say it's made a difference though. The first course of probiotics I took didn't seem to help much.

It seems that any licking/contact with water/saliva will result in the lips lapping up every drop of moisture, getting drier and drier before going white and exfoliating. Even with an artifical barrier i.e. coconut oil.. once the lips soak it up they become chronically dried out and the skin dies and exfoliates. One potential problem may be an overworked/under worked thyroid, but I was tested for this some years ago and the results came back within normal ranges. I have tried many months of leaving them alone/moisturising, it's not helped them.

I've just ordered another course of probiotics, some Iodine (to check whether I am Iodine deficient). I'm so so tired of this shit. Any feedback welcome.
