Re: switching form herbs to Rx - help appreciated
I used Copper Citrate, The Citric cycle is one of the few body chemistry loops that are not severely affected by parasites.
I use citrate(s) to help lower resistance, and it is easily buffered by many natural substances.
Copper is essential for immune enzymes, forcing dominance of good gut bacteria, over bad gut bacteria. It helped me eliminate biofilm, and is known to have many other benefits, in measured doses.
I do not see a problem with your dosing level, it will have some immune alteration with the chloride, but at your low level, this should be minimal.
chlorides have some unique anti fungal characteristics.
I still would feel safer using copper citrate, but it is getting harder to obtain. I have used chelate as well, and was hard pressed to tell the difference. That was a long time ago, but when my test showed both were effective, it went on my list as an alternative.
If you hair analysis shows low copper, I would maintain supplementation until it normalizes.
I suspect there is a large safety margin on copper chloride, but I have not read the studies.
