I got my hair analysis at a local health food store. The test is also available by several firms on the internet.

ELISA testing does require a MD to order up. There are several independent blood test clinics for geologists, professionals, but currently they do not offer tests for parasites. I asked my doctors for tests for filaria, strongyloides, and Ascaris. Ascaris was positive. The strongyloides test they offered was a microscope test, not ELISA. Two years later I discovered their mistake. Huge problem. Get ELISA tests.
