Re: Exfoliative chelitis

Hi tergot,

Yes I know I'm not cured but it has improved so much that I hardly ever think about it. Some days I use it 3 times other times not at all, only pea sized amounts anyway. You can get smaller squeezy tubes of it and can put it in your pocket with no bother. It doesn't interfere in my life anymore and that's the point! I suggest that if you have found a cream that helps like coconut oil/ aquafor that gets it down to an unoticable state, then you should be happy! I know it's not a cure but f*** it, life's too short! Carry that coconut oil/aquafor round with you and go and live your life to the full, and eventually you will forget about this and it will just become part of your regular routine. My little sister has type 1 diabetes And has to inject herself with insulin numerous times a day just to stay alive! So what's a little aveeno cream here and there Compared to that!?

And please stop browsing this site! I don't know about you but it made me even more negative. (I'm not dissing this forum as it does some great things like provide info and bring people together, but I think if you have found a way of controlling this condition then you should stop going on here, accept it and be greatful) So put your cream on, go out and live and stop reading depressing stuff on the web! You can do it!

Good luck tergot,
Peter
Ps i still think you should give aveeno a try!
