Be careful with vitamin D. I don't think it is understood by doctors which is why they recommend such large doses. It is a steroid afterall so for those with autoimmune diseases, how is it no different from being poisoned by prednisone? Steroids do nothing but mask symptoms until the load is too much to bear and then the body just falls apart. Ask yourself why most if not every person with an autoimmune condition has very low vitamin D levels yet very high vitamin d 1,25. The co-opted immune system is trying to turn on the vitamin d receptor but cannot. There is also the political aspect like the vitamin d council just like the idiot dairy council. My 2 cents.
