Re: Iodine deficiency or something else? please help!

Hey

In my opinion u dont have to take 200 mg per day... Let alone start with 100 mg... But its ur choice and everyone has a different opinion on that...

200mg as far as i know is for severe cases like cancer ? (If i m not wrong)....

However.... U ve mentiond rosacea... Maybe u should check out the option called " demodex " ... Its a mite that lives in pores ... Hair follicles... Preferable on ur scalp, eyebrows or in the hair follicles of the eye lashes... Also in facial pores they live. There are some scary vids of them on YT....

Some say teatree oil kills them... (Not easy to use on eyelashes for sure) for that case there is a cream called soolantra (or something like that) the main ingredient is ivermectin ... It kills the mites that cause also big saggy pores and rosacea.... But further of that on the internet.

The cold hands and feet... Well yea u for sure need Iodine .. 50-100 mg ... Maybe only for a while as Lugols and later on just as potassium iodine... Since u r a guy u need less oxidative Iodine on the long run. Maybe Lugols for a year ... Maybe even less. Some men here do good on potassium Iodide only. I wish it would be me too ... Coz taking Lugols for every (since its oxidative) scares me a little haha...

Vitamin D .... Lets say u r a 70 kg guy... U d need at least 4000 IE per day to maintain a D3 level of .. Lets say 45 ....

If ur level is below... U d need like 14x20 000 IU to up ur blood serum level. .... But there are more accurate calculations on the net ... Maybe u ve never had ur levels checked.

Most ppl in germany who dont supplement have only a level of 7-max 15 in the winter.

I personally take 5000 IU per day ... Always with vitamin K2 ... K2 helps Vitamin D to guide Calcium the way into bones, teeth etc and not into arteries and organs.

U could also eat natto (fermented japanese soy beans) ... They also contain a lot of K2 .... But taste and smell horrible.

Dont forget Selenium ... Preferable seleno methionine ... 200mcg per day ... And vitamin C ... To help Iodine getting absorbed (there are ppl with iodine symporter deffects and those ppl provite (profit???) of vitamin C .. Since its somehow helping the symporters ... )

Most ppl here also take b2 and b3. (For example in optimox ATP co factors) ... Has to be a non flushing product ...

At least they take it at the beginning or lets say first year ...

Not to forget magnesium .... But many here also take tons of other supplements... From potassium to boron to chromium.......
