It would be fantastic to know in all our cases whether the lip biting/picking started because the lips became overly dry, or whether the lip biting/picking caused the lips to become overly dry. Proving causality is essential for formulating a treatment plan. For me it's impossible to know which started first. Perhaps your activity levels and country you lived caused mild or severe dehydration, enough to kick start a peeling cycle which when bitten/chewed at, began the never ending cycle ? Have you ever been immunised, and do you know why I'm asking this ?
