Re: What happens when I don't have a barrier on the lips

Just chiming in with some personal info, I got my EC while I was at my 'healthiest' (gym, switched to a SUPER CLEAN diet, more water) and what's funny is I go the gym 6x a week, WALKING TO AND FROM UNDER THE SUN. That takes about 1.5 hours in total a day and that's just from walking! I also play football (soccer) so there is no way I'm lacking any sort of vitamin D, if anything, I'm under the sun quite a lot to be honest. Pretty ironic how I got my EC while switching to a cleaner diet, I cut out a lot of Sugar and instead of deep frying, I grill or bake them so essentially I was eating the same proteins but with definitely healthier sources of carbs and fat.

If it helps, I'm from the Philippines (searched tags on google about ec and Philippines btw, it definitely feels like I'm the first Filipino with it sigh) so it is definitely humid and always hot in here but I just recently moved to the States a week ago.

Forgot to add, well if it wasn't diet-related then my EC was most probably trauma-induced since I remember complaining to my dentist how my lips were more chapped and dry after I got my retainers and I definitely remember picking and peeling them prior to some visits a few months before I started noticing my lips turning white.
