Twist & writhe all you like - quote any generally accepted definition of what constitutes a religion, and I'm pretty sure you'll find that your beliefs fall well within its orbit. That makes you a one woman religion - with perhaps a handful of poor souls you have managed to dupe into accepting your bizarre construct.

The fact remains, you have rejected every religion in favor of a religion of your own making. There's nothing wrong with that in principle. Thousands have done it before you, and maybe hundreds will do it after you too.

It's your intellectual dishonesty that lets you down. At least outright atheists are more consistent in their position. They generally don't attempt to substitute one religion for another, and I'm pretty sure they will ridicule your beliefs as enthusiastically as they ridicule mine.

So here's an experiment you can try out for yourself. Why not make your case to a true atheist? If he/she collapses on the floor in an apoplectic fit of uncontrollable laughter, then that should provide you with a powerful clue that you are playing a losing hand in this debate.
