Re: day six, feeling close to quitting
Hello Chloe,
Go back to your original reason for doing this. You mentioned Healthy Body ... and as important as that is, I am sure that you can find even more awesome reasons to continue doing it.
Some tips to keep you doing it is simply reading the
Master-Cleanse book through when you are feeling a little weak. The information in the book is motivational enough.
4 days may seem like an awefully long time to wait ... but in the GIANT scheme of things, how long is it really when you consider that you took this on because you must have wanted something to be different in your life, right?
So, if you had to trade these 4 days for having that thing that you want, it's not that long really is it? On the other hand, getting this far and quitting, you would definatley have regrets. It's not like you can just break the fast and go back to regular eating right now anyway right? So hang in there.
Also consider what's 4 days compared to a life of living with that thing that you don't want that you are trying to eliminate by doing this cleanse.
We all have what it takes to do this. When you think about eating food, use that as an opportunity to strengthen your mind and your self-confidence in that you can do it. When you hear your mind telling you to eat, act like you didn't hear it, like "huh? did you say something?" and then think about your healthy body you want instead!
Keep coming here and checking in for support. I know it's hard. I'm sitting here myself at day 10 ready for it to be over myself and it has not been an easy one for me. For some crazy reason I have just felt an insatiable hunger the entire time, so it has been QUITE maddening for me.
Stay Strong! Say it! I am Strong! I am Brave! I am Committed to having my Healthy Body! I want my healthy body more than anything else right now! Relax. And surrender to it. You can do it!
