Eating plan

Hi Madhuri,

It is ok to fail, but learn from it. What failing teaches us, can never be learned from success. I have done so many fasts and I have given in to food quite a few times, many of the fasters have made that mistake. No worries.

I would examine what traumatic experience, if any in your life, you have had that changed you. What emotional need of yours is replaced by food. Once you identify that you will be able to tackle this issue.

One other thing could be a total mindless eating, which also can stem from above mentioned issue, but this can be handled very easily, by counting 1 to 5 before you put any food in your mouth, more even touch it. Am I really hungry? Take a deep breath and ask what am I feeling now, anger, pain, sadness, etc. If any negative emotions are identified, then do not eat, drink warm water. When you have a happy thought and know you are really hungry then you eat.

I totally disagree with the poster above, and please do not put anything but water when you fast.

For now if you can eat just raw fruits and vegatbles that will give you a good start and make you lose some weight. There are good fats, such as avocados, coconut products and nuts which will also help you lose weight.

Please watch these videos. There are more there all saying the same things, but I gave you a few from real doctors.
