I am glad to hear that you have fasted with water only for 10 days. Usually Water Fasting gives best result when you rest, keep warm and drink warm distilled or filtered water. You are walking everyday, which is good for you to lose weight.

110 days fasting is in heard of, if you do so you will definitely hurt yourself. Ayurveda has another way of fasting, which I am not a big fan of, but many have done it. In this plan you drink Mung bean water for 30 days three times a day.

Losing eyesight? Sorry, but I have done so many fasts, including the one I am on now, I have to wear eyeglasses too, but now I do not need them, when I eat for a week or two, I will need them. My doctor is shocked that in all these years my eyesight got better and continues to. He often says what do you do? I do not tell him about fasting, because I know his answer.

When nature makes any living organism on this planet it is provided with the ability to survive without eating. Lion does not get to eat everyday, zebra does not get to eat everyday and so when there are days of famine our bodies use fats, tumors, scar tissue etc. to generate needed energy. There is no loss of bones or proteins till you go in starvation. Starvation can happen if you go beyond 30-40 days without food and all your fat and nutritional reserves are depleted. Another way you go in starvation is when you eat partially for a long time, body uses up whatever it needs from its reserves. There are hundreds of people here on CZ have fasted for 30 to 40 days with water only and were better off before they began. You cannot have these fears wjhen you fast, have faith in natures design. Protein has become a big myth in this world. One can ask themselves, how does an a huge animal, the elephant get its protein, who eats nothing but leaves?

I hope that you plan a 30 day Water Fast with no eating at all, no chewing gum, nothing. And if you get a signal to stop your fast, you can eat an organic orange and start refeeding for equal number of days as your fasting days. Then you fast again.
