I am glad that you have chosen this path of fasting to heal your body and lose weight. I am sorry to say that you have a wrong idea about fasting with water. First, during a
Water Fast you should not consume anything but water, not even use toothpaste, and putting junk protein shake is the last thing I would do. This also includes taking vitamins and supplements.
If
Water Fast is hard for and you have fear of losing vitamins and minerals, then I would suggest you start a juice fast with juices from organic fruits and vegetables, just watch the combination by googling "food combining".
IMO, you have enough fat reserves for you to fast with water only, which will give you a weight loss of 1lb per day, on average. But I feel it will be beneficial for you to educate yourself first about fasting. I have posted a link to Dr. Shelton's book, please read it and then fast with fasting rules.

It will take a few fasts before you get to your ideal weight.
Another thing is that you did not get to 270lbs overnight so be patient and eat raw plant based foods in between the fasts.
