The main way we are to be living Godly is that we should not pervert justice (directly specified in the RSV).
2000 years ago, the JEWS were told to "forgive", but that is why evil and deceit continue to happen repeatedly by those who are prone to deception/evil.
WE (SPIRIT-FILLED Jesus worshipers) are to do THE EXACT OPPOSITE as in REVELATION.
Rev 18:6 Render to her as she herself has rendered, and repay her double for her deeds; mix a double draught for her in the cup she mixed.
WE are (supposed to be) God's SONS, not His slaves/servants as we have been taught.
