In a court of law the accused are judged rightly by "intent".
What was the mind thinking before it took the physical course of action? If you hate a person and seek vengeance on them then you have broken the law. God's law. What was the person thinking before they hurt you? That is what we need to look at.
We ask God to give us wisdom to work around or out of situations where there is unjust actions taking place. We just need to keep seeking the answers from Him. And once we have it...apply it.
As far as weakness goes. We are all born with different temperaments. Being a peacemaker can either be because we are the type of temperament that does not tolerate the stress of unpeaceful situations or because the Spirit of God has showed us His way of living our lives and solving our problems. One has power and the other doesn't.
