There is no universal cure but avoiding irritation of the lips and keeping a barrier on them at all times should at the very least help to soothe the deep seated inflammation that a lot of us have, especially in cases where it's trauma induced. Having a healthy Diet and positive mindset in conjunction with that is obviously a good thing too. That's what helped DM and a bunch of other people on here. It's just common sense. Unfortunately it's gonna probably take a long time and involve a number of factors before we can get rid of this shit. People aggressively advocating batshit one size fits all solutions don't get this
