Herpes: how to tell if you have it
Years ago, I had sores symptomatic of herpes. Then I did a series of cleanses: colon, liver, kidney, parasite, and several others. After I did the
parasite cleanse, I never ever ever had another sore that looked like it could be herpes. That was almost 20 years ago.
I asked to be tested, and was positive for herpes 2 antibodies. My doctor says that is proof that I have it.
I'm not so sure. He was basing his premise on the belief that once you have it you will always have it, therefore an antibody test is sufficient. I know that if you have it once, and cure it, you will still always test positive for antibodies.
I have been reading about herpes cures on the internet. There are many sites that say it is curable, many more that say those sites are scams.
I have two questions:
1. what tests can I take to tell if I actually still have the disease?
2. What is the truth about these "cures"? Fact or scam?
I am hoping to start a new relationship soon, So I need to know how to deal with this.
