Hey, thanks for the reply. I guess it's because some guys try to play it off as, "Just because I'm asking for your number doesn't mean I want to date you." I guess you can say they pull the "friend card" to protect their egos.

I'm definitely not worried about him turning psycho, LOL. I think I'll just say hi and bye for a couple days so he gets the point. After he sees I'm not going out of my way for him, he will hopefully not even ask for my #.
