Percentage

With a substantial infestation it appears to be about a ten year window after initial infection, after which it seems a heart transplant is the answer to surviving.
That is, if in a part of the world where this is acknowledged.
That was a couple/few years ago, the last time I had any info on it.
And that info had to do with a PHD and published papers of same as well as published papers of others.

Here in the no microscopes in offices, Americans don't get parasites other than scabies, pinworms, and crabs; it is a good bet that a percentage of, "heart failures," are from undiagnosed chagas infections.

Next.

Personally, I'm so sick of this crap, this institutional denial in the medical community of the country that I was born in, that I'm doing all I can to get out and at least die in a country that is more enlightened about this type of thing.

BTW, these days, I have another for you.
Don't look at the flash.
