Could be SD. Doesn't need to be itchy or flaky. Looks like it's mild now.

I think you putting moisturizers and especially oils is making it worse.

Try using a Pyrithione Zinc soap to dry it out first. It's the main ingredient in Head and Shoulders shampoo...not the conditioner!
Dr. Cynthia Bailey has a good one online as well.

Or, up the amount of Dead Sea Salt you are using in your wash. Try 1/4 cup or more in very warm water for a few minutes. Your skin should feel a little tight afterwards. Like you just came out of the ocean.

Sometimes we think moisturizer is what we need but really it's to get rid of the sebum and yeast that's colonizing. Try either of those two things morning and night for 3 days. If the skin looks dry thats ok. If you absolutely have to have a moisturizer make sure its free of oils, fragrances and VERY light. Use sparingly. Stay away from the oils!
