My teeth have been getting more and more decay over the past years and receding gums. They finally sent me to a periodontist who said that I have lost so much bone in my jaw that nothing can be done but to have frequent cleanings to avoid losing my teeth. I was shocked and never knew that receding gums indicate bone loss! Also I have so many ugly fillings now and the tooth roots turn brown. So I have been trying to start the weston price diet recommendations, stopped eating Sugar and very few carbs, started rinsing with comfrey tea, using essential oils on my dental floss and increasing minerals, eating one ground oarganic eggshell per day, and oil pulling. I am SOO glad I found this thread. Thank you for sharing all this info!! I had started using periobrite toothpaste, which seems very nice and non-abrasive but it does have glycerine. The company, Nature's Answer said that they use natural glycerine that does not leave a sticky film on the teeth - but I am going to stop using it to be safe. I have already seen some improvement - less decay - brown spots lightening. One problem I have is my dentinal fluid seems to be flowing the wrong way - from out to into the tooth, instead of from the tooth outwards. When I brushed with neem oil my teeth turned brown, they seem to turn the colour of anything I am using on them - apparently this is due to mineral imbalance, which I am also going to try to correct. Thank you so much curezone!!
