Re: Do x-rays damage food?

Thank you so much.

I also want to stay away from mobiles. I have one but I keep it in flight mode and put it on twice a day to check if someone has messaged something important.

But I can't do much more. When I go to school or to work I have to sit in a room with 10 other people, each of them carrying a mobile phone, sometimes two. I cannot refuse to be there unless I want to live as a recluse.

My family members have a mobile each and it wouldn't be fair of me to force them to throw it away or switch it off. Even if I did, my neighbours, the people who live upstairs and on my left and right would still have phones with radiation coming to me.

Often I wonder if keeping my phone in flight mode or switched off, or not carrying a phone really makes a difference to the radiation levels my body is subjected to. It feels like a little drop in the ocean.

So I do this more because of the psychological effect of phones - I feel far more conscious, aware, close to myself when I don't have a phone around me which may ring now and then or in which I may tap keys to 'communicate' with people, or which makes me want to check it every few minutes or hours to see if someone has sent me a message or called me. I feel much freer without all these things to consider.
