Hello, I am currently suffering from SD in my eyebrows and I have experienced significant hair loss due to it. Tried topical steroids, felt like it didnt do a whole lot and I've continued to lose hairs. Now my skin is starting to break out, around and within the brows. It's causing more hair loss as the pimples dry up. I've used coconut oil in the past to help moisturize and grow the hairs thicker. But I stopped once the SD got to the point where there was scaling buildup around the base of hairs. Which I feel has contributed to the excessive shedding of my brow hairs. My question is do you think mixing a tiny bit of baking soda with coconut oil would be an effective treatment to stop the scaling/shedding etc? Thank you in advance for any useful advice.
