Suggestions for alternative treatment for stage 4 colorectal cancer?

My father in Greece has stage 4 colorectal cancer. It is metastatic and has spread to his lung and liver. His life expectancy in the best case is 2 -2.5 years from the date of diagnosis, which was about 4 months ago. The worst case scenario is 6-10 months. The opinion of my uncle is that he doesn't have long and that I should come to Greece asap(I live in the USA). He is taking standard pharmaceutical treatments Avastin, Oxaliplatin and 5-fu, which failed to produce any positive results.

He has tried conventional therapy and it has failed. I would like to try to take him to the Gerson clinic in Hungary, but they have not responded back. Has anyone here had any benefit from "alternative treatments" with a similar diagnosis or know anyone who has? Tweet
