Re: Mirena effects on Liver???? and thyroid???

Hi I had my mirena put in five weeks ago and I'm experiencing the same symptoms you are. I had blood work done and my doctor has informed me that my numbers for my liver are elevated also. She is sending me to have another test. I've never had the problems I'm having now. I was even hospitalized due to the pain in my hips. I'm having my mirena moved in a few days I hope. I went in to have it removed by my family doctor and she could not find it. So I'm going in to my gyno on Monday to have it removed. If she can't find it I will be having to have exploratory surgery to find it. It seems I'm always in pain since having this stupid iud put in. My doctor talked me into getting it, I will never allow another doctor talk me into something ever again. Best of luck to you
