Please help me identify metallic taste: bromine, iodine, Se?

Hi all, Sorry if this message is a bit long and disjointed, I'm feeling a bit spaced out.

I've been doing well on Iodine until today when I started getting a metallic taste in my mouth.
I'm also producing a lot of saliva, like a stream of it, as if my body is trying to throw something out.

The metallic taste is a clean bitter taste.

I started Iodine supplementation about 4.5 weeks ago. I'm on 100mg iodoral, and 300mg SSKI , daily. Co-supps are:
magnesium 400mg
vitamin C 4,000mg
selenium as Se-Methyl L-Selenocysteine (SeMC) 400mcg
boron 6mg
sea salt
I can't take a lot of B2/B3, but I average about 10mg B2 and 50mg B3 a day at the moment.

I also have a stomach pain this evening, but that could be from eating out at lunch today.

No other bad symptoms - I'm tired/achy because I didn't sleep well last night but that's normal for me. I don't have headache, don't feel especially depressed. I feel a bit out of it, but I think that's tiredness. I oil pulled twice today. My teeth are aching a bit, and they have been doing that on and off since starting iodine.

The obvious cause for the metallic taste would be bromine toxicity. I have been steadily getting body acne/bumps that come and go, and some scalp bumps - pink and a bit painful. I've been getting a new one every 3 days or so, the whole time I've been on iodine. More at the start, less now.

I had what I think was a strong bromine detox at the start of my Iodine supplementation - for 3 weeks I felt like I'd taken a sleeping pill all day and kept napping as well as sleeping all night, and had Body Odor . I think that was bromine coming out into my blood stream.

Then I started SSKI and that reaction passed. The past 1.5 weeks were great and I had pretty good energy all of a sudden. The house got cleaned! I don't have that drugged sleepy feeling any more now, and no Body Odor , which makes me think this new taste is not bromine detox.

A different cause for the metallic taste could be iodine excess. Maybe I'm at the limit for how much iodine I can absorb right now and my body is trying to throw out the excess. I'm taking quite a lot of iodione and think I am quite clean to start with.

Cleansing in the past 10 years: Amalgam removal, metal chelation, parasite cleanse, colon cleanse, fasting, whole body herbal cleanses, liver supplements, good diet. I'm in Europe and have no fluoride, low bromine (oldish house, not exposed to new stuff with fire retardants in, or cleaning chemicals etc).

Maybe it could be selenium toxicity. I am on 400mcg Se-Methyl L-Selenocysteine (SeMC) which could be too much. The metallic taste came on quite suddenly after dinner today with which I took with my second 200mg SeMC.

It's possible the taste could be mercury or lead coming out, but I don't think so because I have certain symptoms when mercury/lead come out which I don't have now (had these symptoms when I chelated).

I'm not sure what to do:
- keep going regardless of the taste?
- stop all iodine ... take a 2 day break, or completely stop cold turkey (is that safe?) until I feel like starting up again?
- reduce iodine?
- stop selenium only?
- salt to push out bromine?
- vitamin c to wash out excess iodine (as well as stopping iodine)?

Or something else? Any way I can work out what the issue is? I've been searching metallic taste on the forum but can't decide what to do. Any help would be very much appreciated!
