Re: Hygiene with parasites

I have a question regarding something similar to this.
A couple weeks ago, I threw up in my sink. My dishes were in there. The only thing that I threw up was stomach acid and what I now believe was an egg sack. Very thick and gel-like. Nothing that I ate.
I didn't disinfect my sink afterwards because I didn't even suspect parasites at the time.
Is there a chance that if it was an egg sack and I touched it without washing my hands afterwards it could have infected me further? Or was it dead and therefore couldn't have infected me anymore.
I'm so worried
