I had my first ever root canal done just a few days before I started one fast. I did vomit very violently due to the root canal substance being very toxic. As the tooth is way in the back of my mouth I just got it removed and have started The Master Cleanse over. It is smooth sailing now!

The salt water flush can make some people feel nauseated. If it does you can just use a straw to drink it and it passes right by the taste buds.

But the book does say the cleanse starts with a herbal laxative tea morning and at night; however, if it isn't sufficient to clean the intestinal tract you can do the salt water flush.
