Re: Looking for ways to improve this protocol

Thanks for all the great detailed advice.

I have always thought my symptoms have matched Candida very closely. They all began at the same time around the age of 11. As a child, I drank enormous amounts of fruit juice and very little water. I think that's what caused my overgrowth.

Since sticking to the modified diet, my symptoms have definitely improved. Before this protocol when I was only taking antifungals, I did have die-off reactions to garlic. Since the addition of probiotics and enzymes, I am not experiencing dieoff anymore.

In terms of a more detailed list of symptoms:

Eczema that does not go away

Chronic post nasal drip (always spitting out mucus). This is probably the most annoying symptom.

General odor coming from nose at times

Foul-odored smegma on the penis

Nail fungus on toes

Mild feeling of reflux after meals

Fatigue and brain fog (goes away whenever I start exercising)

Stool that is sometimes mushy and during the school year when I was stressed, I had some mucous in it. I googled "candida stool", and my stool does not match the pictures.

If this is not candida, I would be interested in what it could be. A stool test is not an option because my parents do not believe this is an issue. However, these symptoms greatly affect my daily life. Besides all these symptoms, I am athletic and play high-intensity sports daily.
