Thank you. Yes, I agree with what you are saying. I am 65, 15 years post menopause and I took 100 mg DHEA per day since May of this year so I've taken it between two and three months. Because of my PAST adrenal insufficiency problems, I felt like maybe I was starting to have some adrenal problems again. My husband ordered the 50mg DHEA for both of us because he found on a forum he is on that taking DHEA is similar to, yet not as detrimental as, taking cortisone. (For ten years I took Medrol for Lupus and RA. That is what put me into an adrenal crisis several years ago and I ended up at the Mayo clinic to be treated.) It is my own fault for blindly taking 100mg just because my husband suggested it. That is what he takes and it works for him. I should have done my own research but have been stressed to the max in the middle of an ongoing extended family crisis and mistakenly thought that taking a supplement from a vitamin company couldn't hurt me. DUHH!!
