I Think you and I are in a pretty similar boat. I fear my little boy has dissemination from me bc he too has little paper cuts popping up on his skin.

I am not sure what parasite I have. I think it is disseminated strongyloides...I ssy that bc the issue began in my belly. However, I was breastfeeding at the time...I also took plan b which I think caused them to spread, I believe plan b has a low dose steroid. Then one night I had difficulty swallowing I went to the ER and the gave me dexamethasone...through IV, this was horrible, the next day I experienced severe chest pain and shortness of breath I ended up in the ER again. I believe the dex. Caused them to spread more...hence the chest pain and breathing issues. I had one dr. Who treated me presumptively with albenza and ivm and that probably is what saved me...idk. I'm still suffering and havent cyred anything, but I havent had the chest pains as severe as that day again, nor the difficulty breathing. But now that I am testing positive for autoimmune disease I fear they will give me a steroid....I'm trying desperately to treat myself. But im mostly curious about your name? I live in Virginia and I thought your name might be a reference to Virginia? I'm trying to see if there is a possible trend in the locations of this infection. Tweet
