Maybe it depends on the steroid cream used or the cause of EC for it to be effective. I just know that the steroid cream I used worked, but I used a recommended one on this forum. I only used it for a week since it is not good to take it over a week.
Oh yeah, I forgot about Bepanthen. It is called a Nappy Care Ointment and is used for diaper or breastfeeding rash/infections. I remember the nappy part or that someone else posted about this ointment in the past. Since it is made to provide a protective layer on the skin, it probably acts like the liquid bandage to keep yeast or bacteria off the lips. I wonder how the liquid bandage users are doing?
