Re: Hashimoto's, negative ANA and parasites

Thanks everyone.

Metronidazole was useless, yes. All it did was lower my white blood cell count so hopefully a natural parasite cleanse will help. In anyone's opinion - is it smart to take immune 'boosters' now that my WBC are low?

Sorry you had to deal with Ascaris but good thing you got rid of it! My parasites aren't worms but tiny microscopic organisms - I think they'll be a bastard to get rid off.

Also, I just learned the other day that 45% of people with Hashimoto's show a negative ANA. That was new to me but there it is - even more confusing than I thought it could get.

If anyone else's autoimmune disease was caused by an infection I'd love to hear from you. Especially if your treatment was successful and you managed to push the 'disease' into remission.

Thank you guys!
