*PLEASE HELP* More confused than ever....
At the conclusion of my first day of fasting I posted a message on the board titled "Day one a journal for info and support"(link included below).
I said in this initial post that I was 5'9" and 250 lbs and was fasting primarily for weight loss. I was informed that instead of doing what my body needs to do to loss weight (metabolism) I was actually slowing my metabolism down and that it would not return to nomral for approx. 6 weeks AND that I would probably regain the weight AND THEM SOME!!!
I was greatful for this information, as it would save me serious heartbreak, but I am confused because as I re-read the book from Stanley B. this is what he said
>>"IS THE
Lemonade Diet ALSO A REDUCING DIET?
As a reducing diet it is superior in every way to any other system because it dissolves and eliminates all types of fatty tissue. Fat melts away at the rate of about two
pounds a day for most persons—and without any harmful side effects.
and
Yes, the
Lemonade Diet is a reducing diet, but much more. Just as many other disorders also cleared up at the same time when it was used to heal ulcers, when it is used as a reducing diet other ailments are also corrected in the process."<<
I really need the help of people who have done this before...I immediately ceased the fast until I can clarify this contradiction. I am sitting with a fridge full of lemons and grade b syrup and a cabinet that only has cayenne pepper,
Sea Salt & smooth move in it as I did not want ANY temptation during the 10 days of my fast...and before I go to the grocery store I would like to know....
Will I gain my weight back and then some?
Is Stanley B.'s book misleading about the diet being a superior weight loss tool?
