Re: New to forum. Just needing to rant & identification. Thanks!

I have skin mites, most likely bird mites, so I wont comment on your parasites. Stillbattling has and I would go with what he says, I think he knows his s##t. Sorry :)

I just wanted to say hello. I am assuming you are female. I can totally relate to how this has changed your life. I too have spent my whole life barefoot. Since getting this infestation I have not been game to go barefoot. I even keep all of my shoes in the freezer in case there are mites on them. I hate wearing shoes.

It has changed how I see the world completely. My garden used to be my joy. Now I hate walking on the leaf mulch. I am afraid of plants, mulch and feels so fearful when I am sitting at my local cafe and the birds who hang around fly low to get crumbs. People have no idea that birds carry these monsters.

I will never touch another person's dog ever again. I have a neighbour with a dog who has mange mites and she wont listen to me.

From your story, I would gauge that you did get infested from the work you do with dogs. I dont let my dog lick my face without washing it now, even though he is on IVermectin daily.

The flatulence sounds awful. Have you tried charcoal tablets to soak some of it up. It might help with the odour. This could help a little until you get onto an anti-parasitic.

You do have a lot of parasites there in the individual photos. I would say you will definitely need to take Ivermectin or something similar. Don't be afraid of it. It wont hurt you or your liver.

In your position I would follow what Stillbattling has done with the castor oil and grapefruit juice and then start on a higher than usual dose of Ivermectin horse paste. That's what I would do. I am not afraid of Iver at all. Though it has not been the best for me with my parasite, I have my 5kg 13 year old dog on it daily. Dose for weight.

Welcome to the forum. People on here are very helpful and kind to each other.
