It's scientifically easier to eradicate tiny strongyloides with the meds versus 10-15inch disseminated ascaris. Ineffective ascaracides (herbs) caused this flippin' nightmare with my immune system completely compromised from years of steroids from my GI. I wish I could have sought a vet to help me from the get go but I am doing all I can at present. The large worms don't usually migrate but the junctures of my intestines were huge from leaky gut and the irritating herbs that were intended to kill the worms caused many to flee out of the realm of the herbs (to my extremities).
