Go to lowes and buy some carpet protector that painters use to avoid accidental spillage. It has an adhisive on one side so you don't have to worry about the plastic sliding around. You tear out the carpet the owner may not be to happy, you buy the carpet protector when you decide to move you just pull up the plastic and go about your merry way Tweet
